Bonfils Blood Center Hopes GiveLIVE Benefit Concert Raises Big Bucks

DENVER (CBS4) - Bonfils Blood Center is hoping to raise about $200,000 with the GiveLIVE Benefit Concert.

In addition to collecting and distributing blood, Bonfils offers transfusion services and medical consultation. So in addition to the concert, the blood center is always looking for new donors.

"We need blood donors everyday to keep up with that growing population. We'd love to have a lot more blood donors to help meet those needs across Colorado and beyond," Liz Lambert with Bonfils Blood Center said.

The GiveLIVE Benefit Concert is Saturday, May 7 featuring folk and rock singer Matt Nathanson.
