DMV Offices Close Ahead Of New License Designs
DENVER (CBS4) - Several Department of Motor Vehicle offices will close in Denver on Tuesday to prepare for the changes being made to driver licenses.
The DMV announced in February a statewide rollout of new designs for driver licenses, instruction permits, and identification cards.
Closing April 5 are the Denver Central, Cheyenne County, Craig, Lakewood, and Arapahoe County offices. Numerous offices will close this week and more next week. A full schedule can be seen here.
A news conference will be held Tuesday afternoon to discuss the new designs.
