BRECKENRIGE, Colo. (CBS4) – A 43-year-old New Jersey man was killed in a skiing accident at Breckenridge on Monday.
According to a Breckenridge Ski Resort statement, the accident occurred on an expert trail just before 12:30 p.m.
Ski Patrol provided emergency care but the man was pronounced deceased at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in Frisco.
“Breckenridge Ski Resort, Breckenridge Ski Patrol and the entire Vail Resorts family extend our deepest sympathy and support to our guest’s family and friends,” said John Buhler, Breckenridge Ski Resort’s Chief Operating Officer.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
