Aspen Man Killed In Skiing Accident At Park City

PARK CITY, Utah (CBS4) - A Colorado man was killed in a skiing crash in Park City Mountain Resort in Utah over the weekend.

The Aspen Times reports Hansi Brenninger, 48, was on a family trip to the mountain on Saturday. He was skiing in advanced trail when he hit a tree.

Emergency personnel responded with medical care, "but the man ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was not transported to a hospital," said a statement from the Park City Police Department.

Brenninger was from Aspen where he worked as a full-time ski instructor.
