DMV Schedules Office Closures As New Licenses Get Phased In
DENVER (CBS4) – The Division of Motor Vehicles in Colorado has created a new design for driver's licenses, but each of their offices will close for a day to get ready for the change.
Starting April 6, each DMV office will be closed for one day before issuing the new design.
The new licenses feature laser-engraved information and two grayscale photos on the front and the back.
A special page of Colorado.gov -- colorado.gov/pacific/dmv/closures-and-delays -- lists the scheduled closures.
