Supreme Court Won't Hear Avon Man's 'Guns In Post Offices' Case

AVON, Colo. (CBS4) - The U.S. Supreme Court has decided not to hear a case involving a ban on guns at the post office.

Tab Bonidy of Avon filed a court order to get rid of the regulation in 2011. Bonidy has a conceal carry permit and argued he could be prosecuted not only for bringing a gun inside the post office, but also for leaving it in his car.

An appeals court ruled the Second Amendment does not extend to government buildings. The Supreme Court let that ruling stand.
