DENVER (The Sports Xchange) – The Denver Broncos reportedly have offered quarterback Brock Osweiler a three-year contract worth more than $45 million as the clock continues to count down toward the free agency deadline next week.
The Denver Post reported the Broncos’ offer to Osweiler was more than $12 million a year.
According to the Denver Post, the Broncos have made a competitive offer likely to be more than Los Angeles Rams quarterback Nick Foles’ $12.27 million per season.

Neither report indicated how much money is guaranteed in these offers to Osweiler, who is set to become a free agent on March 9.
Since the Broncos took home the Lombardi Trophy, the franchise had been in quarterback limbo. But now Peyton Manning has decided to retire.
Osweiler, 25, showed promise in eight appearances last season, throwing for 1,967 yards while completing 61.8 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns against six interceptions.
He went 5-2 as a starter after a left foot injury forced Manning to the bench.
