Suspect Stole Donation Jars From 7-Elevens

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Parker and Lone Tree along with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office are asking for help in catching the person who stole donations in a jar at multiple 7-Eleven stores.

The donation jars were collecting money for the charity Feeding America. The jars sat on the counters at four different 7-Eleven locations.

The first theft occurred on Feb. 16 about 9:30 p.m. at the convenience store located at 8750 Yosemite Street in Lone Tree. The second was about 9 p.m. on Feb. 23 at 11802 Oswego St. in Douglas County.

The two thefts in Parker happened about 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 24 at the 7-Elevens at 19832 Parker Road and Feb. 26 at 12285 Parker Road.

One suspect is described as a white male between the age of 20-30 years old, about 5-foot-10, with brown eyes, grey hair pulled back into a ponytail and glasses. In one case he was seen wearing a purple jacket, grey sweatpants and a grey baseball hat and in another he wore a grey hooded sweatshirt.

There may be an accomplice described as an Hispanic male between the ages of 20-30 years old and bald.

In each case the suspect walked into the 7-Eleven and stole the jar while the store clerk was distracted. The suspect was seen getting into a late 90s silver Toyota Camry with an unknown Colorado license plate.
