Family Survives Rollover Crash, 2 Children Injured

LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - A family of six was rushed to the hospital after a rollover crash early Monday morning in Littleton.

Shortly after 1 a.m., the SUV was heading east on Bowles Avenue when it rolled over near South Pierce Street and ended up in the westbound lanes. The driver lost control, hit two trees, and crossed over the median.

A family member who was able to visit those in the hospital arrived on scene of the crash and was shocked to see the damage.

"When you see something like this … it usually means something worse. I'm just really thankful," said family member Jesus Garcia.

Two children were injured in the crash. The youngest, a baby only a few months old, may have a broken bone.

The driver of the SUV has been identified as 30-year-old Angela Densmore of Littleton. She was taken to the hospital but will likely face DUI charges.

Right now it's not clear if some, all or none of the seven children inside belonged to Desnmore.

All of the victims are expected to recover.
