Competency Evaluation Ordered For Man Charged With 11th DUI

DENVER (CBS4) - A Denver man charged with his 11th DUI appeared before a judge Monday morning.

Ramon Medrano-Corral, 54, faces eight felony charges including four counts of vehicular assault for a wreck on Christmas.

The charges allege he was driving drunk near 48th Avenue and Inca Street when he crashed head on into another car, seriously injuring two people.

A competency evaluation was ordered in court on Monday for Corral. He is set to appear in court next on June 3. He remains in custody on $50,000 bond.
