Swedish Surgical Technician Court-Martialed For Stealing Pain Killer
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- The former surgical technician accused of putting thousands of patients at risk has admitted to stealing pain killers before.
The U.S. Navy confirms Rocky Allen was court-martialed for stealing a pain killer in 2011. He pleaded guilty and served 90 days of military confinement.
Allen, 28, was later fired from a hospital in San Diego for doing the same thing.
He is accused of stealing Fentanyl while working at Swedish Medical Center. The hospital has notified 2,900 patients who could be at risk for hepatitis and HIV.
