E-470 Plans $80 Million Expansion
PARKER, Colo. (CBS4)- A major expansion of E-470 is scheduled to begin in April that will widen an eight mile stretch of the toll road.
Crews will start widening the road from Parker to Quincy Avenue in April. The road will become three lanes instead of two.
The $80 million price tag will be paid for by tolls collected from drivers on E-470.
It will take about two years before the project is complete.
Residents requested sound barrier walls at a community meeting on Wednesday evening which the toll road is working on.
