Denver Sheriff Department Has 23 New Deputies

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Sheriff Department has a whole new group of graduates.

Sheriff Patrick Firman swore in the 23 recruits Friday afternoon. They all went through 16 weeks of training in things like inmate management, emergency driving and firearms.

The next class of recruits will graduate in May.
