Expectant Father Dies In Crash On Way To See Birth Of Son
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - A Greeley father died Monday trying to get to the hospital for the birth of his son.
Colorado State Patrol said Jorge Serrano, 29, spun out on Highway 85 just a few miles south of the Wyoming border. The road was icy and Serrano struck a semi-truck head on and died.
According to the Greeley Tribune, Serrano was on his way from work in Cheyenne to North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley where his wife was in labor.
His wife delivered their baby boy a short time later.
