Man Pleads Guilty To Taking Photos Up Girls' Skirts In Aspen

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) — An Oklahoma man has pleaded guilty to following two teenage girls in Aspen and taking cellphone pictures up their skirts.

Stephen Moore on Monday pleaded guilty to a felony stalking charge, invasion of privacy for sexual gratification and child abuse causing great bodily harm. The abuse charge stems from a 9-year-old boy Moore ran over while running from police.

According to court documents, Moore repeatedly followed a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl on Aug. 10 in downtown Aspen. The girls grew concerned and told police about the man following them.

Moore initially denied the photos, but fled from police on foot while in handcuffs. He crashed into the boy and pushed him into the ground face-first. The boy suffered several broken teeth.

Sentencing is set for March 21.
