Broncos Starting Safeties Ward, Stewart Both Hurt

DENVER (CBS4) - By the end of the AFC Championship, the Broncos were down to their backups at safety.

Darian Stewart suffered a knee injury against the New England Patriots in the third quarter and didn't return.

T.J. Ward was injured in the fourth quarter. He suffered an ankle injury.

Shiloh Keo and Josh Bush played in the absence of the starters.

The Broncos defeated New England on Sunday by a score of 20-18.
