Amy Van Dyken To Be Honored By Broncos At AFC Championship Game

DENVER (CBS4)- Amy Van Dyken Rouen will be honored at Sunday's AFC Championship game where the Denver Broncos will take on the New England Patriots.

The Denver native and Olympic champion swimmer will be recognized at the game's Broncos Country Hero. The ceremony will happen during the first quarter break at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Van Dyken was in an accident in June 2014 that left her paralyzed but she vowed to continue rehabilitation and not let the accident redefine her.

Last month, she posted a video on her Instagram that showed her walking without the top part of her braces. She was using her core strength.
