LAFAYETTE, Colo. (CBS4) – The search is on for a 20-year-old man from Lafayette who is missing.

Ryder Johnson was last seen Sunday where he works at the Eldora Ski Area. That night a deputy found Johnson’s car parked near Gross Reservoir on Flagstaff Road behind the Flatirons.

Search crews have come up empty.

“Searchers utilized a boat provided by Boulder Emergency Squad equipped with sonar to search the partially frozen water of Gross Dam,” the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. “This search did not turn up any additional information. They also searched areas Mr. Johnson was known to frequent in the Gross Dam area, to no avail.”
