CU Police Need Help Identifying Groping Suspect

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Police at the University of Colorado in Boulder are asking for help identifying a man accused of groping a female student.

The incident happened last week on campus outside the Economics Building. Police say a man in a gray hoodie grabbed the victim's backside and tried to kiss her without consent.

The student fought the suspect off and the man ran away, but not before security cameras captured a good image of him. He's described as a white, college-age male with a full red facial beard.

"The victim noticed that the suspect appeared to follow another female before he ran away toward the University Memorial Center area. CUPD officers searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect," police said in a statement.
