Latest Storm Pushes Colorado Ski Area Over 22 Feet This Season

DENVER (CBS4) - It's a number that's hard to believe unless you live in the eastern San Juan Mountains of Colorado.

But since the first flakes began to fly in late October there has been 269" of snow measured at the Wolf Creek Ski Area.

According to OnTheSnow.com the first measurable snow of the 2015-2016 season fell at Wolf Creek on October 22.

The most recent storm delivered just over a foot of new snow and its not quiet over yet.

More snow is expected into the weekend before the region catches a break early next week.

171.5" - Steamboat Springs
153" - Loveland
143" - Purgatory
140.5" - Winter Park
