Man Shot Multiple Times & Killed Was Known To Assailant

DENVER (CBS4) - A man was killed after being shot several times in Denver early Thursday morning.

Adams County Sheriff's Deputies arrived at Clay Street and West 56th Avenue at approximately 1:30 a.m. to find an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital but died from his injuries.

Investigators in Adams County say they are looking for a suspect in connection with the shooting, and that the assailant was known to the victim.

Officials have not released any names.
