DENVER (CBS4)– Police in Denver searched for the driver of a stolen vehicle who rammed a police cruiser on Wednesday evening.

The suspect driver struck the patrol car during a traffic stop at 20th and Interstate 25. The officer was not injured.

The driver took off and officers found the stolen car after it was abandoned near 36th and Mariposa.

Officers continue to search for the driver.
