Deadly Crash Kills 2 Near Franktown
FRANKTOWN, Colo. (CBS4)- A deadly crash near Franktown claimed the lives of two drivers after two vehicles collided head-on.
The Colorado State Patrol says a car and an SUV crashed into each other head-on. Both drivers were killed and three others were seriously hurt.
The crash happened Monday night on Highway 83 about six miles south of Franktown.
Troopers say the car crossed the center line and struck the SUV. Investigators believe excessive speed contributed to the crash.
