Osweiler Looks Sharp, Broncos Lead Steelers 14-7 After 1st Quarter
PITTSBURGH (CBS4/The Sports Xchange) - The Broncos lead the Steelers 14-7 after the first quarter.
The Broncos were able force the Steelers to punt on their first possession but when the Broncos got the ball back Ronnie Hillman fumbled and gave the ball right back to Pittsburgh with good field position. The Steelers capitalized on the turnover on a DeAngelo Williams 2-yard touchdown run.
Brock Osweiler looked sharp on the Broncos' second possession going 6 for 8 for 84 yards and connecting with Demaryius Thomas for a touchdown to tie the game at 7.
Osweiler then hooked up with Emmanuel Sanders on a 16-yard bomb for a touchdown on the Broncos' third possession.
Josh Bush picked of Ben Roethlisberger with just under 2 minutes left in the quarter.
