2 Snowboarders Survive Avalanche Near Breckenridge
BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - Two backcountry snowboarders survived being caught in an avalanche outside of Breckenridge on Sunday.
The avalanche occurred in the "Fingers" backcountry southwest of Breckenridge Ski Area, according to the Colorado Avalanche Information Center
The riders triggered the avalanche and were partially buried. Neither were seriously injured.
