LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)– Police in Lakewood searched for a car connected to a drive-by shooting early Saturday morning.

The shooting happened about 2 a.m. Saturday when someone fired shots into an apartment in the 2600 block of S. Sheridan Boulevard.

One man was struck by gunfire and rushed to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Another person inside the apartment was not hurt.

Detectives are investigating the shooting to determine whether it was a random act or if the victims were targeted.

Detectives have obtained surveillance footage that shows a white, four-door sedan that may help the investigation.

Detectives are seeking the publics help with identifying this vehicle of interest and any occupants. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lakewood Police Department at 303-987-7111. A photograph of the suspect vehicle is attached (obtained from CCTV).
