Amy Van Dyken-Rouen Makes More Strides In Rehab
DENVER (CBS4)- Olympian Amy Van Dyken-Rouen continues to beat the odds after an ATV accident was supposed to leave her paralyzed.
Van Dyken was in an accident in June 2014 that left her paralyzed but she vowed to continue rehabilitation and not let the accident redefine her.
On Wednesday she posted a video on her Instagram that showed her walking without the top part of her braces. She was using her core strength.
She said those steps left her physical therapist a bit emotional. Van Dyken works out with him three days a week but also works out on her own.
She also posted on her Instagram that she was working on her abductors before walking again.
