DENVER (CBS4) – The Denver International Airport is advising travelers to check their flight status on Wednesday morning after strong winds caused delays. The FAA also slowed traffic to and from the airport.

Conditions were expected to be the same throughout the day and could result in prolonged delays for passengers arriving and departing DIA.
