Broncos D Will 'Have Hands Full' Trying To Stop Packers Rushers

DENVER (CBS4) - When you mention the Green Bay Packers and their offense, everyone talks about Aaron Rogers, but the Packers have the eighth best run game in the NFL right now.

Linebacker Brandon Marshall says he and his Broncos teammates know they're "going to have their hands" full with all facets of their offense during their matchup on Sunday night, and stopping the Packers runners is a point of emphasis.

"James (Stark) is a little more dynamic than Eddie (Lacy), but they both get yards. They both hit the hole and they could go for big yardage," he said on the CBS4 Football Blitz.

While the Broncos running game was showing signs of improvement in the games before the bye week arrived, the Broncos are still one of the worst ranked teams in the league when it comes to production on the ground.

Some have pointed to the shifting arond that's been going on with the personnel of the offensive line as an explanation for the lack of rushing yards. Broncos running back C.J. Anderson, another guest on the Blitz, said that can be a factor, but maybe not as much as people are making it out to be.

"If the holes are there you've got to hit them," Anderson said. "You want an O line to gel together and then you want them to gel with your run style. We used to say 'Me and Ronnie (Hillman) are switching back and forth, they ain't getting the feel of us but we ain't getting the feel of them.' ... That's just an excuse for just not getting the job done."

"We just have to go out there and get the job done," Anderson said.

The two undefeated teams meet on Sunday Night Football at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
