“What you see behind me is a 40-foot-tall inflatable gorilla monument by the artist Chad Person. The monument is a figure of a prospector and he’s on a traditional monument base of solid blue so the figure of the prospector is a figure that the artist is using to signal a new digital frontier,” said Stell.
“The solid blue shape is meant to relate and comment on Denver’s taste in public art. If you think of all the blue art and sculptures in Denver, this is what it relates to.”MORE NEWS: Amber Alert Issued For 2 Douglas County Girls Believed To Be In Danger With Trisha & Towon Jones
