Police Say Teen Waved Gun Around At Party Because DJ Wouldn't Play His Song

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Boulder police have arrested a man they say was waving a gun while at two different parties on University Hill.

Investigators say Abdikarim Ali Mumin, 18, was upset because he wasn't allowed into one house party and a deejay didn't play his song at another.

The incidents happened at approximately 1 a.m. on Sunday. According to police, at one party Mumin pointed a gun person's chest after he wasn't let into the party.

Mumin was arrested on felony menacing charges. He's now facing more charges because police say he originally gave them a fake name.
