Woman Needs Help With Expenses After Father Is Accused Of Shaking Twin Infants
DENVER (CBS4) - A young mother is asking for help after the father of her infant twins was charged with child abuse.
Thamien Vasquez, 20, is accused of shaking and seriously hurting the twin boys. The infants were admitted to the Children's Hospital with bleeding in the brain and other injuries.
The family is asking for donations to help with expenses. A GoFundMe page has been set up for the family.
"My nephews have very serious injuries including brain bleeds, brain swelling, delayed reaction, and a fractured arm," the woman's sister said on the GoFundMe page. "They will need to see a neurologist to monitor their brains and different specialists and therapists. There will be many X-rays and MRIs in the future."
