McCaslin Bridge over US 36
The McCaslin Bridge over US 36 will close for the weekend on Friday, October 16th at 9 p.m. When the bridge reopens Monday morning at 5:30 it will be in its final alignment creating the first Diverging Diamond Interchange on the Front Range. The drive is going to look a whole lot different Monday morning, here is a clip from CDOT explaining the difference:

During the closure drivers are encouraged to access on US 36 using the ramps at Interlocken Loop.

Westbound US 6 from I-25 to Sheridan
With eastbound US 6 traffic now its final alignment, crews will close a section of westbound US 6 this weekend to do the same thing.

Starting Friday, October 16th at 10 p.m. westbound US 6 will close from I-25 to Sheridan as well as the on-ramps from Federal to westbound US 6 until Monday, October 16th at 5 a.m.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says the biggest change for drivers when US 6 reopens will be the opening of a second westbound lane on the US 6 bridge over I-25 for drivers coming out of downtown.

US 6 at Garrison
Farther west along US 6 at Garrison CDOT says to watch out for single and double lane closures overnight Sunday into Monday as they continue work on a new bridge. That work will shift eastbound traffic to the north onto the new bridge so they can demolish the old one.

Westbound Speer Bridge over I-25
Starting Friday, October 16th at 9 p.m. the Speer Bridge over I-25 will close to westbound traffic until Monday, October 19th at 5 a.m. This is so crews can remove, replace and waterproof some bridge joints as well as repave and paint. Eastbound Speer Boulevard will remain open, but CDOT urges drivers to prepare for delays and/or use alternate routes.
