Police Cite Man Suspected Of Vandalizing School Board Election Signs

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Loveland believe they've captured the man suspected of vandalizing signs outside the headquarters of two school board candidates in the Thompson School District.

Denise Montagu and Pam Howard are in a contentious race for the Thompson School Board, which has taken a mysterious turn with the repeated vandalism of their campaign signs.

After weeks of constant vandalism to campaign signs on the sidewalk outside their office, the pair decided to put up security cameras. They took the footage of the vandal to Loveland Police.

This week, investigators identified and cited Larry Gillam for criminal tampering. Police did not release a possible motive for the vandalism.
