Three people were in the car when it crashed, and the driver was taken to the hospital without serious injuries. Police are investigating whether speed and alcohol were factors and whether to charge for a DUI. The 20-year-old driver is in custody.

The car remained in its crash location hours after the incident occurred as traffic investigators tried to recreate what may have happened and gather all details.

The homeowner was released from the hospital around 6:30 a.m.
