2 Police Cruisers Hit In Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Several Colorado Springs police officers escaped injury when a car ran into their cruisers while the officers were investigating a domestic disturbance on the side of the road.
The accident happened about 1 a.m. Saturday. The cruisers were stopped in the roadway with their emergency lights flashing.
The driver of the vehicle, 32-year-old Jason Pope, was charged with careless driving, driving while texting and DUI.
