Former Highlands Ranch Teacher Charged With Sexual Exploitation Of A Child

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4)- A former teacher in Highlands Ranch has been charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Investigators say both alleged victims are minors.

Jeffrey Falk worked at ThunderRidge High School from 1997 to 2014. It is unclear whether the victims are students.

Falk, 52, is also facing several felony charges related to child pornography and stalking.

Investigators in Douglas County are concerned there may be more victims related to the case. The school district says Falk also worked at Parker Vista Middle School which is now called Sierra Middle School.

ThunderRidge High Principal Chris Tabeling sent a letter to parents saying in part, "I can assure you that ThunderRidge High School and Douglas County School District take this matter extremely seriously and we are cooperating fully with law enforcement. Because this is an ongoing criminal investigation, the Sheriff's Office has asked that we not disclose further information on the case."
