PITKIN COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A climber died Monday after falling about 200 feet in one of the most dangerous areas of Colorado's mountains.

The man was climbing with two others in Pitkin County near Aspen. The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office got the call around 5:45 p.m. Monday from a climber in the Capitol Peak area. He reported that another climber had fallen around 200 feet and that a third was stranded on a cliff band above the fallen climber.
