DENVER (CBS4)– A man from Texas donated a super hero casket to the family of a toddler who was killed this week. Detectives have arrested his cousin in the death.
Donnie Ro’mello Romero was found in a closed container with a cord wrapped around his neck in an apartment in the 2500 block of S. Sheridan Boulevard on Monday. He was one week away from his third birthday.
On Friday, Donnie’s family members received the casket at Denver International Airport with a trailer decorated with his picture.
The casket was donated to Donnie’s family and reflects his love of super heroes. Spiderman is painted on the casket.
