Swathmore Mine Spilled Thousands Of Gallons Into Boulder County Creek

ELDORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A mine leak in Boulder County ended up dumping thousands of gallons of orange water into a creek.

The spill in Eldora was spotted Monday. Officials say 4,500 gallons of the contaminated water spilled from the Swathmore Mine.

Officials don't believe the water was toxic and say the pH balance of the water is normal.
