McDonald's Gives Free Breakfast To K-8 Students In Colorado

DENVER (CBS4)- McDonald's helped kids get off to a healthy start on Wednesday by giving them free breakfast before school.

McDonald's gave free breakfast to students in Colorado who are in kindergarten through 8th grade on Wednesday.

At the Stapleton location Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia teamed up with Ronald McDonald to send the message that good nutrition is important to keep kids focused during class.

Garcia also said that McDonald's is a big supporter of the One Book Colorado program which is an early literacy effort.
