Shooting Leaves 4 Injured In LoDo

DENVER (CBS4) - Four people were injured in a shooting in Denver's Lower Downtown neighborhood early Monday morning.

The shooting happened at approximately 2:30 a.m. at 19th and Market Street. It allegedly happened during a party, and multiple people allegedly fired shots.

The four people who were hurt were three women and a man. Their injuries were described as being non-life threatening.

A parking lot was being blocked off with crime tape while police investigated the shooting. The on-scene investigation lasted for about 4 hours and led to the closure of several downtown roads. The roads reopened just before 7 a.m.

About four blocks away, at 18th and Arapahoe Street, an SUV with bullet holes in the passenger side was being studied by investigators. Police said the vehicle was connected to the shooting but so far they haven't disclosed how. The vehicle is a white Cadillac Escalade.

Police said they believe the people who attended the party were all wearing white clothing, a party known by some as a "white party."

The names of the people involved in the shooting haven't been released, and police haven't said so far if a suspect is at large in the shooting.
