NEW YORK (CBS) — “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert will lend his voice to the Waze traffic app through Sept. 22, the app announced Tuesday.

The app is adding the option of other celebrity voices as well. The addition of Colbert’s voice coincides with Colbert taking over hosting duties from David Letterman on CBS’ “The Late Show” beginning Sept. 8.

“For years, I navigated the roadways using a compass, a sextant and the guidance offered by the stars,” said Colbert. “But now I can just listen to my own dulcet tones instructing me on Waze.”

Drivers using Waze will have the opportunity to select Colbert’s voice to narrate their driving instructions by clicking on Settings, Sound, Voice Language and, ultimately, Stephen Colbert.

Also Tuesday, CBS announced Vice President Joe Biden will be among Colbert’s inaugural guests.

Biden will join previously announced guests Uber CEO Travis Kalanick and country singer Toby Keith on Sept. 10.

Other guests set to appear during Colbert’s debut week include George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson, Amy Schumer, author Stephen King, Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk and Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush.
