Smoking In Fort Collins Just Got A Lot Tougher

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - New smoking rules went into effect on Tuesday in Fort Collins.

The city is trying to crack down on secondhand smoke in public areas. Now people can no longer smoke in any park in Fort Collins as well as trails and natural areas. The same goes for all city owned or operated businesses.

Starting next year the smoking ban will also include Old Town Square downtown and most city-approved events and festivals.
