GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - Weld County on Thursday reported its first human case of West Nile virus this season.

The patient is a 36-year-old woman from Greeley. The Weld County Department of Health says she was diagnosed with the more serious neuroinvasive form of the illness this month.

The woman is now out of the hospital.

State health experts say 17 people have gotten sick so far this summer from West Nile in Colorado. That includes four in Larimer County, three in Arapahoe County and two each in Denver, Adams and Pueblo counties.

Larimer County says they're now publishing online test results of mosquito traps so that residents can see if mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile in their neighborhoods.
