Women & Men Bare It All For 'Go Topless Day' In Civic Center Park
DENVER (CBS4) - Topless men and women gathered in Denver's Civic Center Park to get something off their chest. It was part of a nationwide gender equality protest called Go Topless Day.
Demonstrators ditched their shirts in dozens of cities across the country. They're asking for women's rights to go topless in public.
"There should be no reason why my breast should be any different from his chest," said a woman at the demonstration.
Go Topless Day falls on the Sunday closest to Women's Equality Day. That's the anniversary of women earning their right to vote in 1920.
