DENVER (CBS4)– Frontier Airlines is offering passengers another choice when it comes to airfare, it’s called “The Works.”
Frontier said this is how it works: on top of the regular airfare, passengers can pay an additional $49 to $69 and they can choose their seat, be allowed one carry-on bag and one checked bag, as well as no-change fees, refunds and priority boarding.READ MORE: Second Body Found In Poudre Canyon After Devastating Flood & Mudslide
Frontier passengers had complained about the extra fees for everything, including carry-on bags to soft drinks.
“The era of complaining about nickling and diming is over, so for $49 to $69 you can get it all, so there’s no reason to complain about change fees or having to pay for a bag,” said Frontier Airlines President Barry Biffle.READ MORE: Colorado Boy Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Falling From 2nd Floor Of Town Center Of Aurora

Frontier has bet its turnaround on the model of so-called ultra-low-cost carriers such as Spirit Airlines and Allegiant Air. They charge low fares but tack on lots of fees, including some for things like carry-ons and coffee that are still free on bigger airlines.
