2 Dead After Crash In Arapahoe County

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A 20-year old driver and a 22-year-old female passenger are dead after a rollover single-car crash early Saturday morning at Hampden Avenue and South Gun Club Road in Arapahoe County.

The crash happened just before 3 a.m. and the driver died at the scene. The female was airlifted to the hospital but later died.

High speed was possibly a factor in the crash, as was possible marijuana use.

Northbound Gun Club Road was open after daybreak on Saturday morning, but drivers weren't being allowed to turn onto Hampden due to an investigation taking place at the scene.
