DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Authorities in Douglas County would like the public's help locating an endangered man.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Christopher Dasbach, 59, was reported missing Sunday morning from 580 Longfellow Lane.

Dasbach reportedly has dementia and walked away from the Longfellow address at about 8:30 a.m.

The family said Dasbach attempted to use his ATM card at the Safeway located at Broadway and Highlands Ranch Parkway and was last seen walking toward McDonald's.

"Family advised due to his condition Christopher is basically nonverbal, but will communicate when spoken to. He does have his wallet with him, but does not have a cellphone or life track," the sheriff's department said in a statement.

Dasbach is described as a 6-foot-tall white man, 185 pounds with gray hear and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray button up short sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a Denver Broncos baseball camp.
