Man Hurt During Fireworks Malfunction Plans To Sue

AVON, Colo. (CBS4) - A man who was hurt when he was hit by a firework during a July 3 fireworks display in Avon plans to file a lawsuit.

His attorney says he plans to sue the fireworks company and probably the town of Avon.

Investigators are trying to figure out why three shells malfunctioned and shot into the crowd.

Nine people had minor burns.
